Rising star jazz vocalist Lucy Yeghiazaryan and pianist Tardo Hammer join us for a intimate performance in the gallery at Susquehanna Art Museum. Enjoy an evening of stirring, soul-warming jazz in this beautiful space! Lucy Yeghiazaryan was born in Armenia and immigrated to United States in 2001. As a child she studied classical violin and took an initial interest in singing as a result of her father's love for jazz. The uncommon fusion of a more Eastern oriented style of singing, and traditional jazz creates an undeniably distinct sound that immediately captivates the listener regardless of cultural background. Her repertoire is extremely versatile and includes unknown and scarcely recorded jazz, blues, sharakan and Latin compositions....
